For some reason, consumers have started to believe that Metro PCS isn’t really interested in presenting what can be called ‘cutting-edge’ or ‘hi-tech’ devices. The most hi-tech it could go was the introduction of the Metro PCS Samsung Galaxy s3, but it never managed moving upwards. Well, to defy all such rumors, the business has brought out the latest Metro PCS LG Spirit in to the market!
The LG Spirit basically happens to be an Android Smartphone that is about 4.5 inches in height. It runs over the 4G network of Metro PCS, and the most alluring aspect of this phone is its outstanding processor.
Design of the hip and trendy Metro PCS LG Spirit
Well, when it comes to the look of this phone, its pretty much on the average side. Although the screen looks good, it still isn’t HD and might disappoint a few users. However, the phone is extremely comfortable to hold, light weight, and isn’t way too thick. On the downside, its sides and back are made out of mid-range plastic that really isn’t all that high quality.
Metro PCS Lg Spirit Reveal Trailer
To be honest, it’s fast – faster than anyone thinks it should or can be! You aren’t going to find much of a lag when you open apps or flip screens around. The same holds true when you play games, which run real smooth.
The good thing is that the skin is bright enough (although not really sharp), making it easy for it to be used outdoors. Once again, the downside is the outdated Android version with which it was launched, the Android 4.0.4, along with the fact that LG has placed a rather unintuitive skin over it.
This phone comes with quite a bit of pre-installed software, which just might annoy you for the simple reason that the software are not ones that people typically use. However, this is obviously the case with any phone that you get from a carrier, so you’d just need to get used to it.
Any other good things about it?
Of course! When you start using the Metro PCS LG Spirit, you are instantly going to fall in love with its speed. The high speed element owes to the 1.2 GHz dual-core Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 processor that the phone comes with. Yes, we know for a fact that it is slower than the 1.5GHz chip that is found in the Samsung Galaxy S3, but this Metro PCS phone is fast because it comes with a low resolution screen. To be honest, it’s fast for the simple reason that the phone doesn’t have to deal with way too many pixels! However, that’s about the only fault that a user might be able to point out in this Metro PCS phone.

Conclusion
The Metro PCS LG Spirit is a great phone on the whole. It has an amazing battery life, and can last quite a while depending upon the reception it acquires and usage. At times, it is said to have a way better battery life as compared to the Galaxy S3. It comes with a 4.3 GB internal storage, and if you think that isn’t enough, you could just get a micro SD card anytime you think that you’ll need quite a bit of media over your phone.
Although the fact is that the photo quality that you’ll get out of this phone is nowhere near being great, but the camera software really does make up for it. It allows you to do panoramas and HDR, and even features a slide mode for you to snap pictures of yourself!
This phone is a must have for all Metro PCS users, and for those who wish to switch to Metro PCS as well. At such an affordable price, this phone is great, and has what it takes to fulfill basic needs (apart from photography!). The Metro PCS LG Spirit is truly worth being invested in if you wish to acquire good value for money!

The phone is running Android 4.0.4 “Ice Cream Sandwich,” along with LG’s Optimus UI overlay. It’s a pretty light modification, but it makes the phone feel a little more accessible and user-friendly than stock Android. There’s no word on an update to Android 4.1 “Jelly Bean,” though that’s common among contract-free phones. Still, ICS is a vast improvement over Android 2.3 “Gingerbread,” which even the LG Connect 4G is still running.
